WAN and the Kalogris Foundation
Women and Network donates 10% monthly income to the Kalogris Foundation. After a long search for a charity organization we selected Kalogris for their indisputable reputation and help around the Globe. Reaching Out to those in need: Across the globe, nearly one billion people struggle with hunger every day. Hunger is everywhere, from the poorest nations on the planet to the most developed in the Western world. In fact, hunger and malnourishment claim 25,000 lives each day. That's about one person every four seconds. The enormity of the problem can be overwhelming. But one company has developed a way for individuals to join together to make a difference - the Kalogris Foundation. People Helping People The Kalogris Foundation was founded in 1995 as a nonprofit, charitable organization in honor of the late Dr. Theodore Kalogris. Each year, the Foundation supplies nutritional aid to several hundred individual families.
In addition, working through Distributor volunteers on the ground, the Kalogris Foundation reaches nearly 15,000 children through sponsored feeding centers in Malaysia, Burma, Cambodia, the Philippines and Haiti. Several organizations also receive products through the Foundation, including AIDS Services Foundation, Camp Make-A-Dream, Missouri Girls Town, Second Harvest Food Bank, Teen Challenge Ministries, St. Benedict Abbey, Sarah John Foundation and the Haiti Baptist Seminary. With your help we can begin to spread the miracle of life, love, and hope. www.reliv.com/us/inside/kalogristable
